In 2009, Southern California Edison Company joined Cops for Kids as a very special "Five Star" sponsor. In an economic climate where major sponsor funding is less available, SCE recognizes our need and was supportive of our mission in assisting children in the valley. Viet Tran, SCE Regional Manager, carried the Cops for Kids message back to the SCE management team and it was agreed that our program was indeed a positive influence in the community. Southern California Edison granted Cops for Kids a $25,000.00 award to offer and maintain its programs for children in the Lake Elsinore Valley.
Cops for Kids is very appreciative of Southern California Edison and looks forward to our continuing partnership in meeting the goals established for Cops for Kids.
